Ground Penetrating Radar
Subsurface Mapping
Ground Penetrating Radar or GPR as it is more commonly known uses a series of radar pulses to detect subsurface objects or map subsurface structures. The depth penetration capability of a GPR system depends primarily on the frequency of the Antenna - higher frequencies are goo for detecting small objects at shallow depths while lower frequencies are better for relatively deep penetration. Other factors that affect GPR performance are the type of soil, moisture content in the soil, surface type such as concrete, water, soil, metal etc.
Drone Plus GPR

Asatrobo provides a drone based GPR solution in partnership with UgCS. A drone based GPR system allows for subsurface scanning of hard to reach areas such as ground, ice, snow, rocks, fresh water more efficiently and without putting engineers in harms way.
Benefits of a Drone GPR Solution
Efficiency
GPR data is acquired faster and more efficiently than traditional methods.
Increased Safety
Remote data acquisition without putting engineers in harms way.
Precision
Accurate drone positioning combined with a rangefinder results in a high degree of accuracy
Automatic Flight Plan
Autonomous GPS equipped drones ensure accurate track following.
Lower Costs
Drone based GPR is significantly more cost effective than manned aerial GPR.
Remote Locations
Drone based GPR can access difficult to reach / access locations.
How It Works
Our modular drone based system is customized to your specific applications. You chhose the GPR based on your specific requirement, you choose any other optional payloads that you may require, we reccomend the drone system based on your payload requirement.
Choose a GPR based on your survey requirement
Choose optional additional payload such as Visual or Thermal Camera.
